Iowa Hawkeye fans can mingle with coaches and athletes in 10 stops across the state this spring.
The university announced the days and locations for its Hawkeye State Tour on Tuesday. The tour, hosted by the I-Club, has been a 40-year tradition.
Each stop features a panel of select coaches including Kirk Ferentz (football), Fran McCaffery (men's basketball), Lisa Bluder (women's basketball) and Tom Brands (wrestling).
In addition, athletes, assistant coaches, Herky the Hawk and radio voice of the Hawkeyes Gary Dolphin make appearances.
The tour begins April 25 in Des Moines and features the following additional stops:
- May 1: Boone
- May 2: Fort Dodge
- May 3: Carroll, Manchester
- May 4: Council Bluffs/Omaha
- May 11: Ottumwa
- May 15: Waterloo
- May 17: Clinton
- TBA: Cedar Rapids
