The Iowa men's basketball team will play at least nine games that start at 8 p.m. CT or later on its 2015-16 schedule, which was released in full Thursday.

We knew all the opponents and dates already, but Thursday revealed start times and TV networks.

Late tips for Iowa have become more common, particularly with the additions of Maryland and Rutgers to the Big Ten Conference. The Central time zone teams playing at home often get assigned the second game in a Big Ten Network or ESPN doubleheader, which means more late tip-offs.

Of Iowa's nine home Big Ten games, four will be at 8 p.m. on weeknights — including the Dec. 29 opener against Michigan State and Senior Day on March 1 against Indiana.

Iowa doesn't have any home Big Ten games on a Saturday this season, circumstances that typically have the best chance to draw robust (or sellout) crowds. By comparison, Nebraska has four (and maybe five) home Saturday conference games.

Fran McCaffery's Hawkeyes tied for third in the Big Ten last season with a 12-6 mark and recorded the school's first NCAA Tournament win since 2001.
