Iowa men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery has made it to the final four in his quest to land high school senior forward O.G. Anunoby.
Anunoby announced on Twitter on Sunday that he would choose between Iowa, Georgia, Indiana and Mississippi. He is expected to announce his decision on Tuesday.
"I'm announcing where I will go to college after school Tuesday at 6 pm #Georgia #Iowa #Indiana #Ole Miss," said Anunoby, a 6-foot-7 native of Jefferson City, Mo.
McCaffery still has two scholarships available for the 2015 recruiting class, which currently has three players committed, including 6-7 forward and Ohio native Ahmad Wagner, who is also being recruited in football as a receiver.
Wagner still is expected to sign a national letter of intent with Iowa during the early signing period in November. Also expected to sign with Iowa are 6-4 shooting guard Andrew Fleming from Nashville, Tenn., and 6-5 forward Brandon Hutton from Chicago. Fleming took his official visit to Iowa this past weekend.
In other recruiting news, junior college center Rozelle Nix reportedly has narrowed his list of schools to Loyola Marymount, Pittsburgh and South Carolina, according to Brad Winton from JucoRecruiting.com. Iowa reportedly had expressed interest in recruiting the 7-0 Nix, who is from Cincinnati.
