The University of Iowa won eight of its 10 matches during a dual against No. 20 South Dakota State on Friday.
The No. 3 Hawkeyes did not need a pin to take down the Jackrabbits 29-8 in Brookings, S.D. The result was coach Tom Brands' 200th dual win, and the Hawkeyes' 20th consecutive road dual victory.
None of Iowa's nationally ranked grapplers lost, and Brands' team won the first five matches of the night.
Iowa's Thomas Gilman, the No. 1-ranked wrestler in the 125-pound weight class, beat Ben Gillette by technical fall 26-11. Ben Sorensen, ranked No. 2 in 149, defeated Alex Kocher 9-5.
SDSU's wins came from a couple of nationally ranked wrestlers: Nate Rotert, No. 4 at 197, and Seth Gross, seventh at 133. Gross was an Iowa wrestler until he was dismissed from the team after being charged with burglary in 2015.
The win pushes the Hawkeyes to 4-0 ahead of a 7 p.m. home dual Dec. 10 against Iowa State.
