Clemson University and the City of Clemson are holding a celebration of for the Tigers' college football national championship on Saturday. It promises to be as priceless as Howard's Rock.

What, when and where

A 40-segment parade followed by a celebration at Memorial Stadium are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET and 10:30 a.m. ET, respectively. The parade begins at the intersection of College Ave. and Keith Street and enters the stadium at Gate 5.

The stadium celebration will feature comments from coach Dabo Swinney, quarterback Deshaun Watson, linebacker Ben Boulware and other players, school president Jim Clements and athletics director Dan Radakovich. It also will include the presentation of the Amway Coaches Trophy and the College Football Playoff national championship trophy.

Others appearing include members of Clemson's 1981 national championship team, the Tiger Band, cheerleaders, Rally Cats dance team and more than 200 former Tigers football players.

How to watch

Online: The celebration will be shown on WatchESPN beginning at 10 a.m. ET.

In-person: The parade will proceed from the intersection of College and Keith toward Bowman Field. It then will turn onto Hwy. 93 toward the athletics district. Its next turn is at Centennial Blvd. toward Memorial Stadium. It then turns left onto Avenue of Champions to reach Gate 5 (Avenue of Champions and Williamson Road).

Stadium gates open at 7 a.m. ET, and the parade will be shown on the stadium video boards.

Because of the numerous other campus events happening Saturday, including the men's basketball team hosting No. 18 Virginia at noon ET, the school compiled this parking guide for visitors.
