The Iowa State wrestling program's 2022 recruiting class grew to 10 on Monday when head coach Kevin Dresser announced the signings of Cayden Miller and Cole Carlucci, two heavyweight wrestlers.

"We're excited to add Cayden and Cole to this class," Dresser said in a release, announcing their signings. "This class is turning into something special."

Miller is an in-state product from Midland High School. He finished second at the Class 1A state championships at 195 pounds, capping his career as a three-time state qualifier and two-time medalist. He won 119 matches over his final three prep seasons.

Miller, who projects at 197 pounds, is now the 27th in-state senior to sign with a Division I wrestling program. He is one of four to commit to Iowa State, joining Crestwood's Carter Fousek, Gilbert's Fernando Villaescusa and Xavier's Christian Stanek.

"I am extremely excited to announce I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at (Iowa State)," Miller wrote in social media posts, announcing his decision. "I would like to thank my friends, family, and coaches who supported me throughout this journey."
