INDIANAPOLIS — It's semifinal Saturday at the Big Ten women's basketball tournament, and the Hawkeyes are vying to stay alive.

A third championship game appearance in the last four seasons is on the line No. 2 seed Iowa faces No. 6 seed Nebraska. The winner will advance to Sunday's championship game against Indiana, which knocked off top seed Ohio State in the other semifinal.

Hawk Central reporter Dargan Southard is live at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and will have live updates, analysis and commentary throughout Iowa's stay (how ever long that may be). Follow along here and on Twitter.

FINAL: Iowa 83, Nebraska 66.

2:27:2Q: Iowa 78, Nebraska 64.

Caitlin Clark with 40 points, 21 of which have come in the second half.

4:06/4Q: Iowa 77, Nebraska 62.

Hawkeyes trying to put the finishing touches on this one.

7:35/4Q: Iowa 73, Nebraska 56.

As much as Caitlin Clark's deep threes get all the attention, her ability to drive the ball coast to coast straight down a foe's throat is a big weapon when trying to close out games. Hawkeyes in control here.

END 3Q: Iowa 66, Nebraska 53.

Hawkeyes 10 minutes from a third title game appearance in four years.

2:29/3Q: Iowa 59, Nebraska 47

Eleven Iowa points in about two minutes has Caitlin Clark demanding noise from the Hawkeyes contingency. Iowa getting whatever it wants at the rim.

3:28/3Q: Iowa 55, Nebraska 44.

Hawkeyes getting whatever they want at the rim. Huskers going to have to start draining threes to keep up.

4:30/3Q: Iowa 50, Nebraska 43.

Offense starting to come a little easier for the Hawkeyes now. Caitlin Clark with six points in the quarter. Huskers still a horrendous 1-for-15 from deep.

7:19/3Q: Iowa 46, Nebraska 39.

Hawkeyes finding Monika Czinano down low for easy buckets. That tends to work out well for the Hawkeyes.

10:00/3Q: Second half underway.

20 minutes to crown another finalist.

HALF: Iowa 38, Nebraska 35.

Wasn't the prettiest or most efficient offensive half from the Hawkeyes, but enough tough points and defense for a small lead.

2:45/2Q: Nebraska 35, Iowa 34.

Back and forth these teams go. Just when one makes a push, the other answers.

4:10/2Q: Nebraska 28, Iowa 25.

These teams look like they know each other well. Not a ton of separation as we close in on halftime. Hawkeyes still shooting just 33% and are 3-for-11 from deep, yet are staying afloat.

7:55/2Q: Nebraska 25, Iowa 22.

Caitlin Clark and Monika Czinano dominated the first half last night. They have 13 points on 14 shots right now. Hawkeyes short on offensive flow at the moment.

END 1Q: Nebraska 20, Iowa 17.

A couple of loud table smacks from Lisa Bluder amid a 6-turnover first quarter. Caitlin Clark has five of the them. Hawkeyes didn't end the quarter well.

4:17/1Q: Nebraska 16, Iowa 15.

Kate Martin picking up where she left off last night. Six points in the 1Q. Hawkeyes looking to close out the quarter strong.

7:00/1Q: Nebraska 12, Iowa 11.

This game moving at a much better pace than last night. Both teams up and running as expected. Caitlin Clark swishes her first three to get on the board.

5 p.m. — Game on

Nebraska and Iowa for a chance to win a title.

4:42 p.m. — Hello again

Both teams out on the floor as we have about 20 or so minutes until tip. The Hawkeyes could win a Big Ten Tournament title while facing the No. 7, No. 6 and No. 5 seeds, yet it hardly feels like an incredibly easy route. The Big Ten's depth in a nutshell.
