The Iowa baseball team started the Big Ten Conference tournament with a 9-8 victory over Maryland on Thursday.
A big contributor to the Hawkeyes' victory was Chris Whelan, who had everything but a triple for a cycle.

Iowa (35-19) plays Nebraska at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Who knows what Fricke has up his sleeves for the next game, but you can tune in to BTN to find out.
