Aaron White practiced Friday, but doctors will do a follow up before the game against No. 5 Wisconsin on Saturday.

Iowa forward Aaron White has not been ruled out of Saturday's Big Ten basketball game against fifth-ranked Wisconsin.

Iowa spokesman Matt Weitzel said Friday afternoon that White "did a little more (in practice Friday). The medical staff will follow up with Aaron in the morning and see how he feels."

White injured his right shoulder 4 minutes into a 67-63 loss at Purdue Jan. 24. He tried to come back in the game but was in too much pain to continue. His injury was diagnosed as a stinger.

White said Thursday that he had discomfort in his shoulder and neck, but the pain was decreasing.

If he plays, White said he'll have padding sewn into a shirt he'll wear under his uniform to protect his shoulder.

Iowa and Wisconsin tip off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game, to be televised by ESPN, is sold out.
