Iowa to play in Cayman Islands tournament in 2017

Iowa, Cincinnati, Alabama-Birmingham and Wyoming are headlining the inaugural Cayman Islands Classic, an eight-team men's basketball tournament that will be played in November 2017 in George Town, Cayman Islands, the school announced Wednesday.

The tournament is expected to be played before Thanksgiving.

Dates and the other four teams in the field will be announced later.
