Iowa's Jarrod Uthoff is one of two Big Ten co-Players of the Week for last week, along with Maryland's Melo Trimble, the conference office said in a news release Monday.

Uthoff won the same award once in the 2014-15 season.

Last week, Uthoff shot 61 percent from the field — including 69 percent on 13 3-point attempts — and set a career scoring high in consecutive games, tallying 27 points Monday in a win over Western Illinois and 32 points Thursday in a loss at Iowa State.

Iowa's Jarrod Uthoff drives to the hoop during the Hawkeyes' game against Western Illinois at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Monday.
