Iowa gets verbal commitment from Wisconsin quarterback

The Iowa football team received a verbal commitment from quarterback Nathan Stanley of Menomonie, Wis., according to Scout.com and Rivals.com

The 6-foot-4, 193-pound Stanley is the first member of the Hawkeyes' 2016 recruiting class.

He also received a scholarship offer from Pittsburgh and drew interest from Michigan State, Minnesota, Stanford and Wisconsin.
