One of Iowa's top remaining 2020 football targets has picked the Hawkeyes.

Deontae Craig, a three-star defensive end out of Culver, Indiana, announced his commitment to Kirk Ferentz's program Friday via Twitter. He officially visited Iowa City in June, and he also took official visits to Indiana and Tennessee.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz calls out to players during a Hawkeyes football Kids Day scrimmage, Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Craig, who checks in at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, the No. 582 overall prospect in 2020 and No. 22 among weak-side defensive ends.

With Craig, Iowa now has 23 known recruits in its 2020 class — which the 247Sports Composite currently considers the country's No. 23 class. Craig is Iowa's seventh defensive lineman recruit, joining Logan Jones, Lukas Van Ness, Aaron Witt, Isaiah Bruce, Yahya Black and Michael Lois.
