Iowa depth chart has tweaks at safety, fullback and linebacker

Andrew Logue
Anthony Gair (12) will start in place of Jordan Lomax on Saturday.

Another Iowa football depth chart brings another series of lineup tweaks.

Anthony Gair is listed as a starter at free safety, in place of Jordan Lomax, who was ejected from Saturday's 20-17 loss to Iowa State after drawing a targeting penalty. Per NCAA rules, Lomax will not be allowed to play in the first half Saturday at Pittsburgh.

Macon Plewa is listed as the starting fullback despite missing Saturday's game. John Kenny, who was a linebacker two weeks ago, is Plewa's backup.

Freshman linebacker Ben Niemann is backing up Bo Bower at outside linebacker.

Also, Marshall Koehn is still sharing the kicker spot with Mick Ellis, despite hitting a clutch 44-yard field goal against the Cyclones.
