Back-from-suspension Reggie Spearman no longer a starter

Iowa released its latest football depth chart Monday, and the most notable changes come at linebacker.

Reggie Spearman is back from a two-game suspension, after being charged with OWI. But he is listed as a backup to Josey Jewell at weak-side linebacker.

Reggie Spearman pursues Indiana running back Tevin Coleman on Oct. 11.

Prior to his suspension, Spearman was the Hawkeyes' starter at that position.

The starting linebackers are Jewell, Quinton Alston and Bo Bower.

Travis Perry had been subbing for Spearman in the starting lineup, but it was revealed Monday that he is out for the regular season with a knee injury. Cole Fisher, a junior from Omaha, has taken Perry's place on the two-deep.

Also, running back Jordan Canzeri is back on the two-deep. Canzeri has missed Iowa's previous two games with an ankle injury. He is listed as a co-backup with Akrum Wadley, who was one of Iowa's few bright spots in a 51-14 loss at Minnesota with nine carries for 68 yards.

Mark Weisman remains the Hawkeyes' No. 1 option at running back.
