Quick takes: National perspective on Rudock to Michigan

Former  Iowa Hawkeyes quarterback Jake Rudock is off to Michigan, according to multiple reports.

We've known quarterback Jake Rudock wasn't long for the Iowa football program ever since C.J. Beathard was all but given the keys to the Hawkeye car earlier this offseason.

The news is official now, with numerous reports that Rudock is transferring from Iowa immediately to Michigan.

That's another Big Ten program, yes, and with national coaching darling Jim Harbaugh, to boot.

It's too bad Michigan isn't on the Iowa football schedule this year. But that'd have been too good to be true, and maybe too impossible of a transfer to hammer out, anyway.
