Iowa pass-rusher Drew Ott suffers injury, arm in sling
The Register
Iowa's Drew Ott, the leader of the Hawkeyes defense and the team's top pass-rusher, is likely out for the remainder of Saturday's Cy-Hawk series battle with in-state rival Iowa State.
Ott left the game with a reported wrist injury after a scrum for an Iowa State fumble in the first half. Ott returned to the sidelines late in the second quarter with his arm in a sling. Without Ott, the Iowa pass-rush struggled to unnerve Iowa State quarterback Sam Richardson in the remainder of the first half.
Ott had two sacks and a forced fumble in Iowa's opening win against Illinois State last week.
