Herky the Hawk is happy with the announcement of a Nov. 14 sellout for Iowa's football game against Minnesota at Kinnick Stadium.

It was a forgone conclusion, given the Iowa football team's ascendance in 2015 and the growing interest surrounding a corresponding, one-of-a-kind wrestling event.

But the Hawkeyes' 7 p.m. game with Minnesota on Nov. 14 at Kinnick Stadium is officially a sellout, the Iowa athletic department announced Friday.

It's the first sellout of the year and just the second to reach the capacity of 70,585 over the past three seasons.

The night contest on Big Ten Network coincides with the morning's Grapple on the Gridiron, which has now eclipsed the 30,000-ticket mark.

Considerable tickets remain for Saturday's game vs. Maryland the Nov. 21 home finale against Purdue.
