Sports Illustrated updates Iowa cover with 12-0 nod

It looks like Iowa football and Sports Illustrated can be friends again.
Iowa was featured on a regional cover of last week's Sports Illustrated, hailing the then 11-0 "raucous" Hawkeyes.
Seeing tight end George Kittle and wide receiver Matt VandeBerg as cover boys made some Iowa fans happy, but others worried about a jinx.
Before this past week, the last time Iowa football appeared on the SI cover was after a 9-0 start in 2009. The Hawkeyes then lost at home to Northwestern, and quarterback Ricky Stanzi was injured.
This time around, the Hawkeyes prevailed with a season finale victory over Nebraska to propel Iowa to a perfect 12-0 season.
