Hawkeyes learn two more home kickoff times

Iowa's season-opening home football game against Miami of Ohio will start at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 3 and be televised by ESPNU.
In addition, the Hawkeyes' Sept. 17 contest vs. North Dakota State at Kinnick Stadium will be an 11 a.m. kickoff and air on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The announcement of those start times Monday means fans now know seven of Iowa's 12 kickoffs for this season. Start times for the Hawkeyes' other five games will be revealed closer to game days.
The schedule that is known so far:
- Sept. 3, vs. Miami of Ohio, 2:30 p.m., ESPNU
- Sept. 10 vs Iowa State, 6:30 p.m., Big Ten Network
- Sept. 17 vs. North Dakota State, 11 a.m., ESPN or ESPN2
- Oct 1., vs. Northwestern, 11 a.m.
- Oct. 15, at Purdue, 11 a.m.
- Nov. 5, at Penn State, 6:30 p.m., BTN
- Nov. 12, vs. Michigan, 7 p.m., ABC, ESPN or ESPN2
