We asked Hawkeye fans to prescribe a cure for their Cyclone brethren. Ake Phetdavieng/Special to the Register

It's rivalry week, football fans!

The Hawkeyes claimed the Cy-Hawk trophy a 31-17 win in last year's matchup, but the Cyclones most recently won the game in 2014.

Iowa thrilled fans with a high-scoring season opening win over Miami (Ohio) last weekend, and the Hawkeyes will look to make their record 2-0 after they play Iowa State on Saturday.

The Hawkeyes' performance against the RedHawks wasn't perfect, which raises of questions as we head into Week 2: Will Iowa's defense make improvements to catch up to  the offense? Will Parker Hesse play? Will LeShun Daniels Jr. and Akrum Wadley continue to impress in the running game?

Join columnist Chad Leistikow (@ChadLeistikow) and recruiting reporter Chris Cuellar (@cuellarchris) on the Hawk Central Facebook page live at noon Wednesday to talk all things Hawkeyes football, rivalry week and more. Tune in to Facebook to ask them questions live in the comments or tweet them in advance. They'll do their best to answer all of them.
