The Iowa men’s golf team finished sixth at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Dallas. The Hawkeyes recorded a third-round total of 360 to shoot 42-over-par overall for the three-round event.
Iowa finished in the middle of a 12-school field that included five ranked teams along with Big Ten foes Michigan and Minnesota. Oklahoma State won the tournament at 15-over-par.
Brian Bullington led for the Hawkeyes at three-over-par, finishing in a tie for 11th place. Raymond Knoll and Carson Schaake tied for 16th at six-over-par, followed by Ian Vandersee at nine-over-par. Voramate Aussarassakorn and Nate Yankovich rounded out Iowa’s lineup at 22-over-par.
The fall season for the Hawkeyes has now been completed.
“Everyone was focused and ready to compete today,” Iowa coach Tyler Stith said. “It was definitely a positive way to wrap up the fall season.”
