The questions surrounding Josey Jewell's size and speed won't be going away.

The Decorah native and former Iowa Hawkeyes star struggled to stand out during the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday.

Iowa senior linebacker Josey Jewell is all smiles after the Hawkeyes won, 27-20, over Boston College during the 2017 Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017.

Jewell didn't help his NFL Draft stock when he turned in unofficial 40-yard dash times of 4.83 and 4.84.

A three-year starter for the Hawkeyes at middle linebacker, Jewell had a strong and stellar college career full of highlights that tell a different story about his skill set.

When he arrived at the combine, Jewell was considered by many as a mid-range draft pick, if that. Jewell will certainly have to shine during drills later in the day for linebackers.
