The National Wrestling Coaches Association pulled back the curtain on its National Duals series pairings Monday and Iowa will wrestle No. 4 North Carolina State next Monday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The Hawkeyes wrapped up the regular season with a 16-0 dual record but finished second in the national rankings behind Penn State. The current National Duals format pairs the top teams from the Big Ten against champions from other conferences and at-large selections.

Thus, the top-ranked Nittany Lions will play host to No. 3 Oklahoma State — a squad Iowa defeated in November — in the championship dual while the Hawkeyes will aim to complete an unbeaten dual season against the Wolfpack.

North Carolina State (22-1) is coming off a weekend split, falling Friday against No. 5 Virginia Tech before bouncing back Sunday with a win against No. 6 Missouri. The Wolfpack lineup features two-time NCAA heavyweight champion Nick Gwiazdowski, third-ranked 141-pounder Kevin Jack, No. 4 Max Rohskopf at 165 and No. 5 Tommy Gantt at 157.
