Lil Jon's Vol holla causes Twitter frenzy

Lil Jon is becoming a regular Tennessee Vols fan.

After tweeting "HOLLA @ ME" to @Vol_Football on Tuesday, the rapper tweeted this on Wednesday:

# ThirdDownForWhat @ Vol_Football # BEATFLORIDA # YEAHHHH

Vol_Football is the official Twitter account of University of Tennessee football and has more than 129,000 followers. For his part, the rapper has more than 1 million followers on Twitter.

Lil Jon's international hit song "Turn Down For What" has been revamped by UT, with the approval of coach Butch Jones, as "Third Down For What," to be played when UT opponents are facing a third down.

Vol_Football has not publicly responded to the Lil Jon tweet, and the performer hasn't issued any further tweets to indicate what the "Holla" was all about.

But that hasn't stopped widespread conjecture on Twitter that the Atlanta-based "King of Crunk" will show up for this Saturday's UT-Florida game at Neyland Stadium, despite the fact it would be unusual for a performer to make plans so publicly on social media.
