For the fourth consecutive year, the Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association is hosting the Iowa girls state wrestling championships. The 2022 competition is set for this weekend, Friday and Saturday, at Xtream Arena in Coralville.

Action begins with Friday's preliminary rounds, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, then the finals and medal matches on Saturday. Wrestling fans across the state and even around the country will be tuning in.

Here's how you can follow the action:

How to watch, follow on TV and online

Options are rather limited, unfortunately, on how to watch the actual wrestling this weekend.

FloWrestling will stream the tournament and archive matches from both days. Flo's stream is available Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast & Apple TV. Subscriptions cost $150 for an entire year. There are no known pay-per-view options to only watch this event.

You can watch the action on your phone through the FloSports app, on both iOS and Android. You can use the app on your phone to cast on your Smart TV — Vizio, Samsung and LG TVs.

Additionally, Mediacom's statewide channel, MC22, will air all the championship matches on a delayed broadcast. They will run them at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22; 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24; and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25.

The tournament will be hosted on Trackwrestling, including brackets, results, team scores, individual match box scores, and more. Click here for the tournament's Trackwrestling home page.

There were 457 girls that competed at the IWCOA girls state wrestling championships in 2021. It is expected that there will be 741 that compete at the 2022 IWCOA girls state wrestling tournament, set for this weekend at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
