Former Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray is 5-foot-10 1/8. That's something new we now know for sure.

Now, whether the Arizona Cardinals are really considering him among potential players they could select at No. 1 overall, that remains as unclear as ever.

General Manager Steve Keim turned up the heat on the rumors Wednesday with his careful comments at the NFL Scouting Combine.

When asked about Josh Rosen's status as the Cardinals' quarterback and if the team would pursue Murray, the GM said:

“Is Josh Rosen our quarterback? Yeah, he is right now, for sure.”

Right now, for sure?

New Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury's said he would draft Murray with the first pick in the draft back in October, when he was the coach at Texas Tech. Those comments, obviously out of context, coupled with Arizona's position in the draft at No. 1 overall prompted a response from Keim.

“Well, I think what Kliff said was trying to avoid bulletin board material," Keim said. "I think if you’re at Texas Tech, I would have said the same thing about an Oklahoma quarterback. But again, it’s still early in the process. We haven’t even gone through a full evaluation of all the positions, so really, it’s again too early to say.”

But in a separate interview with CBS Sports Network, Keim complimented Rosen but pointed out that things could change leading up to the draft.

Still, Kingsbury can't help how he feels about the former Sooner quarterback. In an interview with NFL Network on Wednesday he gushed about Murray.

“The fascinating thing with Kyler is he is the quickest player on the field, at the quarterback position,” he said ... "I mean, he’s a tremendous talent. I’ve thought that since his high school days. Been a big fan, excited to see how this process goes for him.”

Stay tuned for more drama between now and the first round of the NFL draft on April 25.
